It may be a shock for most hardcore Coldplay fans that the band is venturing with a new sound. Their new song that premiered today is very different from the classic songs from their catalogue like 'Yellow,' and 'The Scientist.'
'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' can be considered an electronic soft-rock. It has that dance music feel with a colourful vibe but still has their acoustic guitars with their infectious melody. I personally like this song, not as much as their former hits but it's still a great summer jam.
