Katy Perry reverted back to her striking strawberry blond hue when she debuted her new fragrance 'Purr' at Sears in Toronto, Ontario.
The 'Last Friday Night' singer is a natural blond but has spent years maintaining her hair as a dark brunette, even dying her eyebrows and eyelashes to match. She said she had to wait three weeks to lighten her locks further otherwise her hair could break off. She only started the the transformtion of her hair colour just over a week ago.
'So I didn't get to the exact color (sic) I wanted from being black for so long! she explained to her fans on Twitter. '2get to goal I have 2b GINGER for 3WKS,' before explaining: 'If I don't wait 3wks, I'll end up w/no hair or a #pixie90scutw/abarretteinthefront It's okay, I'll get to my secret color(s) soon! #patience.'
I think she looks best with her dark black hair, but it would be good for her to go blonde for a while. Or this could be the start of a new era or maybe the re-release of her 'Teenage Dream' album which has been rumoured earlier this year.
Whatever her team is planning for Katy, I hope they could give her latest single another extra push which is currently at No. 4 on Billboard's Hot 100, so that it could reach the top of the charts and tie with Michael Jackson to have five No. 1's off one album.
