Adele ascended to the top of Billboard's Hot 100 this week with her latest ballad 'Someone Like You.' The song also made a huge gain on the Radio Songs Chart (42-19) and in Digital Sales (11-1 with 275K copies sold) following her angsty performance on MTV's VMA two Sundays ago.
Adele’s ballad is now her second chart-topping single this year, following the seven-week reign of “Rolling In The Deep” displacing Maroon 5 and Christina Aguileras “Moves Like Jagger” from the top of the Hot 100.
